Republicans Play Dirty. Democrats Need to Play Ruthless.
Time to Gerrymander the Gerrymanderers

There is no more room for gentle parenting in politics.
At Donald Trump’s direction, Texas Governor Greg Abbott has added mid-decade redistricting to the agenda for the July 21st special session. Their goal? To gerrymander five more congressional seats for Republicans in Texas.
Let me put that into perspective: Texas currently has 38 congressional districts. Only 12 are drawn to elect Democrats. If Abbott and Trump succeed, that number could be cut in half.
When asked if he wanted a full redraw of the map, Trump responded:
“No, just a very simple redraw—we pick up five seats. A couple of other states where we will pick up seats also.”
Translation? This isn’t just about Texas. Trump intends to pressure every Republican governor to rig congressional maps in their favor—state by state, seat by seat.
And with the GOP clinging to a razor-thin majority in the U.S. House, it’s easy to see why.
They’re scared.
They drew these gerrymandered maps years ago—and now they’re afraid to run on them.
So instead of competing, they’re cheating. Again.
Well, I call bullshit.
Democrats have the population advantage in the states that matter most—California, New York, Illinois, Maryland. And if Greg Abbott goes through with this political heist? Governor Gavin Newsom has already said he’s ready to redraw California’s map too. To gerrymander Republicans out of power.
And frankly, I think every single Democratic governor in a state without an independent redistricting commission should do the same.
Because here’s the math:
In these Democratic-led states—where Republicans benefit from maps drawn by legislatures or partisan commissions—11 GOP House members currently hold seats.
Draw. Them. Out.
Out of power. Out of their seats. Out of their comfort zones.
I’m done holding a tiny water gun while Republicans walk around with a blowtorch.
It’s time to fight fire with fire.
So to Governor Wes Moore (Maryland), Governor J.B. Pritzker (Illinois), Governor Kathy Hochul (New York), and Governor Phil Murphy (New Jersey)
Let’s get to work.
Time to use the tactics against Republicans that Newt, Grover, John, Mitch and the rest of Republican leadership have been using against the American people for decades.
It’s time we turned on the heat and the volume! These scumbags will bury all of us! Many more of us than them! We need to knock them down’ There pictures all over social media of the two faced hypocrites who lost their spine and changed no vote to yes!
