Absolutely agree! We need to see Democrats actively trying to oust bad leaders and promote the fact that unlike the GOP, they root out those who are self serving and NOT listening to their constituents.
Democratic Party members of Congress need to be consistently talking with, not at, and listening to all of their constituents. We already know that the average person no matter their party wants the same things. How to get there is the issue.
Show people how the GOP has rigged everything in their favor versus trying to ensure everyone wins.
I live in New York and Kathy Hocul has done some good things for New York. I remember in my lifetime having one republican governor, and that was Governor Pataki! If he becomes governor of New York I’m done.
Democrats might need to stop scolding each other, and recognize that being “right” and being “effective” are not the same thing. Embrace a broader range of viewpoints in the party, and the regular voter will likely come along. We can’t progress if we’re not electable. No candidate is currently acceptable to both wings of the party.
You're right! The Republicans have been taking credit for money from Biden's Infrastructure Bill, which none of them voted for, BTW. New York is not the only state we have to pay attention to. The Dems have to get some energy going finding candidates well before the elections.
