Of course i have had no idea what is going on in the "manosphere" except what I read on my multiple news outlets from MSNBC to you to other Substack and Bulwark emails. But I do have several grandsons, and I realized that the 24 year old and 18 year old were being propagandized. Their mothers have worked with them to "deprogram" the misinformation they have received online, and I have also talked with them. Glad to hear that something is happening organically to change the perceptive of some of these influencers! Thanks for your explanation!

Honestly if she had a real gauge for public opinion she wouldn’t have posted melania’s hat. She wouldn’t have worn Marilyn’s dress. One of the very thing she lacks is public perception. If she’s posting about immigration, it’s because she a) has a soul and b) is affected by it. And she has a lot of labor that may very well be immigrant labor. And she’s grown up in a largely immigrant town.

He makes the mistake of assuming that if someone puts him on a pedestal he can suddenly turn around and show his absolute worst sides and still have their undying adoration! The power to take down the oppressiveness and aggression against us lies with us to keep pushing back and speaking truth to power.
I'm a little battle-scarred from the beating liberal democracy has taken the past 10 years, so I am reluctant to become too hopeful. But your insights as a younger observer of trends in American culture give me hope. Thank you!!!
